Delhi Commission for Women : ウィキペディア英語版 | Delhi Commission for Women The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) is a statutory body of the Government of Delhi with main aim to investigate and examine all matters relating to the safeguards provided for women under the constitution and other laws in Delhi. Current chairperson of DCW is Swati Maliwal, she took charge on 29 July 2015. ==History == DCW was constituted in 1994 by Government of Delhi under Delhi Commission for Women Act, 1994 and it started functioning in the year 1996. Prime work of the Commission is to investigation and examination of all matters relating to the safeguards provided to women under the Constitution and other laws and to make recommendations for effective implementation of safeguards and to improve the conditions of women in Delhi.〔
